Terms of Service
Mail-Document-Extraction
Effective date: 5 September 2026
1. Private authorised use
Mail-Document-Extraction is a privately operated application intended only for the operator and other specifically authorised users. It is not offered as a public or general-purpose service.
2. Permitted purpose
The application may be used only for the governed Email and Document corpus extraction workflow for which access has been authorised. Use outside that purpose is not permitted.
3. Separate application components
The Email Extraction Tool and Document Extraction Tool remain separate systems. The Email tool produces structured text source artefacts; the Document tool ingests those artefacts together with the wider Drive corpus under a controlled handoff.
4. Operator responsibility
The operator is responsible for selecting source material, authorising extraction runs, maintaining access to the relevant Google account and Drive estate, and following the project's production controls, acceptance gates, and rollback procedures.
5. Availability and changes
The application is provided for private operational use and may be changed, paused, or withdrawn as required by the project's controlled change process. No public availability or service-level commitment is made.
6. Data and privacy
Use of Google user data is governed by the Privacy Policy. The application does not authorise broader use of Google user data beyond the extraction purpose described there.
7. Access revocation
Authorised users may stop using the application and revoke Google account access through their Google account security settings. Project artefacts already created may remain subject to the operator's corpus-retention and audit requirements.
8. Contact
Questions about these terms should be directed to the operator using the support contact shown on the Google OAuth consent screen for Mail-Document-Extraction.
